Mike Haislip - President & CEO
Mike Haislip became President and CEO of Monitronics in March 2006 after serving as Chief Operating Officer in 2005. Mike graduated from the University of Tennessee and joined Deloitte and Touche as a CPA in the audit group. He spent the next 27 years in the cable industry beginning with Cox Communications and later serving as President of Star Cable Associates, President of Armstrong Cable, and Sr. Vice President Great Lakes Division of Charter Communications.

Michael Meyers - Chief Financial Officer
Michael Meyers brings more than 20 years of accounting, finance and operations experience to Monitronics as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Monitronics, Michael directed a $30 million paging operation with PacTel Personal Communications, currently known as AirTouch Communications. Following that, he spent eight years with Tyler Corp, a diversified public holding company. There he was Treasurer and Vice President guiding numerous financial functions and lead acquistion efforts.

Kelly Habbas - Chief Information Officer
Prior to joining Monitronics in June 2008, Habbas was the managing IT director for Direct Energy’s commercial and industrial business unit. While at Direct Energy, he led all North American custom application development, architecture, and maintenance activities. His responsibilities included the oversight of critical systems that pertained to pricing and deal capture, contract management, load forecasting, billing, and market enrollment. Habbas began his career at Arthur Andersen, and held senior positions at Capgemini, and Hitachi Consulting. He received his BBA in management information systems from Southern Methodist University in 1996.

Mitch Clarke - Vice President, Marketing
Mitch Clarke joined Monitronics in 2007 managing marketing and product development. Mitch Clarke is a seasoned telecommunications executive with over 24 years experience. Mitch began his career in the cable television industry working for TeleCable, Inc. and TCI. In 1995, Mr. Clarke joined Liberty Global as an expatriate working in Europe where he spent 12 years developing broadband ISP networks and developing the quad play of voice, internet, mobile and digital TV products. As EVP and Managing Director, Mitch led much of the new product development innovation and software enterprise integration. Mitch was a founder of Chello Broadband N.V., the largest cable based high-speed internet provider in Europe today. Mitch graduated with an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Steve Baker - Vice President, Sales
Steve Baker joined Monitronics in late 2008 as Vice President of Sales. With 25 years of security industry experience, Steve spent the first 13 years of his career in several roles with Westec Security, a high-end security and Patrol Company in Southern California. The next, 10 years were spent with ADT building their Dealer Program. He then became President of NACC, a subsidiary of ADT Security Inc., where he grew the subscriber base to over 325,000 and developed the Dealer Loan Program. Steve’s final ADT role was as Director of Business Development. Prior to joining Monitronics, Steve spent 2006 working with a high volume Monitronics Dealer program. |
Rick Hudson - Vice President, Security Services
Rick Hudson is a long-time employee at Monitronics, starting in October of 1995 as the Director of Customer Service. Having worked in the security industry since 1974, he brought 21 years of experience to the job. Hudson worked with former Monitronics CEO Jim Hull at two companies: Network Multifamily Security in Dallas, where Hudson was VP, and at My Alarm before it became Monitronics. Hull brought him onboard in 1995 and he was made VP in 2001. He has a B.S. in telecommunications from Texas Tech University.

Bruce Mungiguerra - Vice President, Field Operations
Bruce Mungiguerra joined Monitronics in 2006 as director of consumer sales and was promoted to director of field service in January of 2008. He became a VP in August of 2009. Before joining Monitronics, Mungiguerra worked for Brinks Home Security at their corporate headquarters, holding various senior management and field operations leadership positions. He also spent 14 years with Delta Airlines where he was instrumental in leading various groups on the operations and call center side of the business.

John Mejia - Vice President, Customer Care
John Mejia joined the Monitronics team in June of 2006. During his tenure, the company has seen an improvement in service levels, abandon rates, and streamlining of operational processes across departments. Before coming to Monitronics, he was senior director of call centers for the Great Lakes region for Charter Communications, where he managed 1,300 employees across four call centers in three states. He also held the position of director of operations for both Centennial Communication in Puerto Rico and AT&T Broadband in the Northwest. Mejia has also worked and assisted in improving operations at Time Warner, TCI, Chase Manhattan Bank, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. Mejia has a B.S. in information systems from the University of Phoenix and has lived in Murphy for the last three years. |
