Monitronics International Welcomes New Sales and Dealer Development VP

DALLAS (November 11, 2008) – Monitronics, a top U.S. security company, has appointed Steve Baker as Vice President of Sales and Dealer Development.  He brings 25 years of experience in the areas of business development, sales and executive management within the security industry.  

As Vice President of Sales and Dealer Development at Monitronics, Baker is charged with all facets of sales, including overall strategy, new market segments, and managing the existing dealer base. His goal is to continue to grow the Monitronics dealer base by recruiting high-quality dealers and providing them with an exceptional service /experience.

Baker served as Director of Business Development and Dealer Relations with ADT.  During his first 13 years in the security industry, Baker worked for Westec Security in Southern California in all areas of the company.  During his career, Baker has worked with dealers closely and worked to grow dealer bases and implement successful dealer programs.
